Wordless Prayers from Higher Insights

If a good word is like silver, and silence is like golden, how might we evolve our prayers before the Most High? Christ warns against repeating many words, thinking they will gain more audience before God, and rather encourages letting our communications be clear and genuine. Yet, a silent prayer could be the best, if we were to offer gold rather than silver.

How would a silent prayer sound? This may appear to be an oxymoron, for silence denotes freedom from sound or even words. Yet, this is a glimpse of where God is beholding us as we approach in prayer. The bible encourages us to pour out our heart to God, and even to throw all of our burdens upon the spirit. Beyond the concepts of our minds, or the linguistics of our cultures, our inner alignment can sing loudly the prayer of our inner self.

Do you ever think we might live in a great machine? Perhaps machine is a cold word to some, yet wouldn’t the creation of God’s hands also function upon the firmament of being in a similar logical way. The level of God’s thinking is not like our own, yet through analog we might use the word machine to sense the way it could operate. Just as people have held many kinds of creation models and myths in the past, God has held a place in people’s minds where previously turtles were perhaps holding up the world, for example, all the way down into the void of infinity.

How mechanical is our world, and all of the lives within it? Is our world based on an ancient technology, and all of our religions faithful reminders through traditions and re-translated myths? If God is really also on other scales of being, and beyond time itself or even perhaps more future based, the way we are encapsulated here could be reconsidered through an eye on mathematical transcendence. Whatever the method, our inner balance, and the alignment of our true intentions, are as close as we can hope to focus so that we can pronounce our presence within the fundamental reality that holds life.

When we deepen our relaxation, our perspective can settle deeper within the nervous system. There we can hold ourselves with greater integrity and attunement. The mind, liberated from the surface rambling of our daily thoughts, can behold directly the state of being that we maintain as emotional energy and as our projected state of disposition towards our environment.

From that level, we live in colour, feeling and levels of light. The tensions and irregularities of our personal habits and inherited conditioning, also can be more clearly seen. The apparent moment is most easily encountered without effort. We don’t push ourselves to see, rather we remove the filters and blockages of tension, from the flow of awareness, as the divine seeks to peer through our vessel.

Buddha is often quoted as asking his students to recall their faces from before they were born. This may seem a strange request, yet it suggests that within our depths there is an unchanging, immovable presence that stays steady, and will stay so for as long as this life continues. Lao Tzu states, in the Tao Te Ching, The name that can be named is not the eternal name. With this in mind it is with wordless prayers that we can approach the presence of transcendental abodes. Through alignment with timeless silence and integrity, angels may meet us there as familiar refined pilgrims.
