Maybe Tyrell Corp is Hiring a Pope?

What would I do if I was head of the Universal Church? That is what Catholic means, Universal. I think I’d like to be like David Bowie’s Starman and Let the Children Boogie. I also really hope we don’t Blow It. How would I help them to step on better, if I was a Pope?

Pope Francis passed away the other day, May he rest in peace. I guess it’s not fair to expect any one person to make significant changes within large establishments, especially when they are the epitome of conservativism and a resting place for the most wealthy of our current economic system. Yet how long can we wait for change?

If I was the head of a universal church, my first mission would be to establish places of spiritual regeneration. I don’t visit churches much anymore or understand the rituals that they employ very well. I would rather seek to make spaces where people could come together and build a more uplifted humanity. Beyond the conflict of traditional divisions, we could make local hubs fit for fostering good health and shared goals. This could transform our societies and eliminate some problems.

If places of renewed human spirit were nurtured, away from profit and close to sustainable ecology, people could freely share their resources for a joyful life balance. I can envision a place where anyone could walk in, without any money in their pocket, and have a place to sit, eat, drink and stay safe from the elements. It sounds so simple, yet to do that now is a profit-making exercise. Apparently, we can’t access those things unless we have the money.

Do as thou wilt, will be the whole of the law the Thelema flock say. This is a loaded sentence now, due to so many mixing it up. Rather, let me rephrase it: God trusts you to employ your intelligence to do great and wonderful things. Be as brilliant as you can, in your own way, and God will surely marvel with you!

The ‘Glorious freedom of the children of God’, as mentioned at Romans 8:21, is a mindset imbued with the genius wisdom of God’s long-term view. The focus of that freedom is employed in the highest aims. It is liberated from any cage of modern control, and free from the ethos of financial economics.

In groups or as individuals, the power of God’s freedom is a force that we can utilize to achieve satisfaction and create change together. Or, by the limits of frustration, it can become the means to hold others back for some others’ advantage.

In exploring what is valuable for us within God’s eyes, we have a way of considering how we might employ the genius faculties that God lovingly endows us with. Our innate ability thrives in freedom. We don’t sit idly by while conflicts rage. nor do we need worship dogma above new works of divine grace that can only find our world through human hands.

We respect the destiny of the young souls that we welcome to the world stage, with divine responsibility. We foster for them the most wonderful visions that can free them in line with expansive and glorious lives.

It should be simple, yet money can warp our societies into economic and bureaucratic patterns of repetition. We live in a time of great knowledge and cultural variety.  Yet so many are not free in their minds, so that a more beautiful picture of living genius can form within their own expectations. There, within us all, is the place where God will meet your own Inner Higher Genius.

It is there, that God entrusts you with the power and freedom of unlimited vision, and grace-filled imagination, for the co-creation of a tomorrow in line with Holy Spirit. God respects you and trusts you more than any religion would ever mention. Beyond the human limits of time, space and language, only you can interpret the power held there and insist that no-one siphon that value away before you can bestow your own wonderful gifts upon our world.
