In my own humble, and often silly, efforts to help the world, I have hoped to see us move away from war and conflict. The daily challenges of human life appear more than enough, without these bigger stressors also within view. I’ve tried to say it in many different ways, in the hope that we might find a new faith together, so we can begin to live by a new constitution. Beyond the imbalances of the past, might we heal and more easily know that love, sharing and collaboration are possible?
Sometimes, I’m not sure how else I can say it. I remember times where life has complicated my own view, and blocked comprehension of solutions and beneficial opportunities. We have seen in out time how far people can become enmeshed in certain views, especially in this age of the internet and social media. This is evident in the fields of politics, philosophy and even sociology. Robert Anton Wilson discussed the notion of reality tunnels. We all have a view of things, and sometimes we unintentionally are led to cultivate limiting views with a fixed focus.
One exercise that he suggested, is to consciously adopt a counter reality tunnel as an experiment. He even suggests doing this several times. Through this process we are able to see how our mind will adapt its whole perspective to fit around the information that we use to cultivate our understanding. Just as the craftsman who only possesses a hammer sees every problem as a nail, our world may find itself in a bind within of similar self-imposed limit.
I imagine sometimes spaces where we, as a human family, can be relaxed and healthy without money or dogma. It’s an idealist dream, for sure, yet how high might we aim for those we love? Humanity, perhaps caught in a view bound by politics, economics, and historical divides, have often wondered when Heaven might give us a hand up out of confusion. The help we hope for may even be around us at times, yet we might misinterpret it if our mind is in the habit of seeing things another way.
As a boy, I was educated that a tribulation would come before a paradise could occur. The artists expressions of tribulation stayed in my mind, and I feared for the unfair treatment of people. Perhaps the small community I lived in as a child, gave me the impression that the judgement would be too limited for the diverse wider society that we lived in. I wrestled with the dilemma in my youth, how could I bargain for a freer paradise for a greater number? I preferred reading “My Teacher Is An Alien” books, anyway.
Our age is a time of amazing change, and this has expanded our views as we grow into more flexible mindsets. Through information, digital creativity, and the different layers of manifestation, we are now more open to different solutions and new kinds of blessings. Human nature will always be human, yet our openness to celebrate each other, and our potential success, has developed. Through deep healing, and forgiveness, we have a freshness within to find a vision that we prefer to embrace.
Help from Heaven may come in many ways that we once might have ignored or rejected. The shame of some aspects of our cultures, and the fears imagined by our old fictions, have at times blinkered our openness to believe in alternative options. Aliens and paranormal phenomenon are discussed in terms of conspiracy and disclosure. Just as we wonder if there will be ‘contact’, perhaps they also wait for us. The Fermi Paradox asks why the universe seems so quiet, yet it might be linked to open-mindedness, willingness and childlike playfulness, just as much as any of the other theories put forward. The way other beings have been portrayed in past times of scarcity and conflict, have kept us from embracing possibility. Still, love’s power to hold our family likely transcends our understanding of time, dimension and universe.
Heaven may surprise us one day, if we can hold a space for that possibility. Faith can open a space for that, and a small seed can grow into a great tree, as Christ reminded us. The ones that we love, and the many that hold love as their guiding principle, could be as sailors on the ocean of infinity, securing our place in divinity. As we heal further, may our world become a place where a meeting of potentials can bloom into a refined expression of our highest visions.
Over the levels of information, betwixt the clay, biology, and spirit, might advanced beings seek to dance with us? In a time of peace, I hope so. As the X-Files TV show popularized the term “I want to believe”, our faith is also a prayer for our world to find easier paths to paradise with minimal tribulation. In maturity and wisdom, I hold faith in our ability to navigate these awakenings together.
All Glory to the Most High.
God is Love.
